Hi there, and thanks for visiting Recipe Remodeler. My name is Scott and I love cooking. For a long time I have hosted a personal website to share recipes and photos with family and friends. Recently I decided to switch over to a more public site and share with the world.
I’m an IT guy by day, A DIY-er at home and a foodie all the time. I find that cooking and baking are great ways to unwind and relieve the stress of everyday life. Consequently, I love trying a new recipe and figuring out ways to improve it. That’s how I came up with the name Recipe Remodeler. I have remodeled a lot of things in my life, why can’t food be one of them? This blog is a way to share recipes, gadget reviews cooking techniques and general food ideas with the world. Please let me know with a comment or on Facebook if there is anything you would like to see featured. I love posting my successes, but I am not afraid to post some kitchen failures as well. I love answering reader questions and suggestions.

I find inspiration for recipes from may different places. I will often link to the original source, but most of the time I try a recipe, then adjust it to my liking and try to make improvements. If you spot a mistake, or something I have missed or could improve, let me know. I am always open to suggestions.
