Scottish Shortbread Cookies
These simple Scottish shortbread cookies have just 3 ingredients but are so delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
- Cream butter and brown sugar
- Add 2 cups flour, mix well
- Sprinkle board with the remaining flour. Knead dough for 2 minutes, adding enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. cut into 2x3 inch rectangles, prick with fork and place on ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes
